If I needed Kodi, I’d just load it up on a cheap Firestick or something rather than constantly mess with side loading, unless the process has became way less annoying. I do understand what you're saying but just wanted to point out that you have to sideload Kodi on Fire TV as of 2015 IIRC. Luckily, there are tools you can sideload on FireTV
